Zell am See (Part 2)

Back to Zell am See this weekend for another week at Club Kitzsteinhorn. The place is great for kids, and not too bad for grown up kids!!

The snow conditions at Zell aren't brilliant, but the glacier has just had some fresh snow, so there should be some good conditions. As the Kitzsteinhorn glacier was where I learned to snowboard, I may have to ditch the skis for a couple of days in favour of a board. (note to self....remember to pack wristguards!!)

Wengen

Wow!! What a great week. Powder, sunshine and beautiful scenery.

We got the timing spot on. A week of heavy snow, and we arrive just as it decides to dump a load more overnight, and then the sun comes out! I couldn't have planned it better if I'd tried ;-)

The conditions at Murren were especially good, and the Schilthorn run was far more fun when it hadn't been pisted!! I made it my aim to ski all the runs, especially those that I hadn't skied before...yes there were a couple. The runs down to Grund were in good nick, so I visited there a couple of times. Didn't make it round to First, but visited Interlaken one evening.
