Day Off

Well, not quite. But a slower day. I woke up feeling a bit rough, and when I saw breakfast for the second time, I decided to take it easy.

One of the great things about Swiss skiing, is that a lot of resorts have trains as part of their lift system. These usually go at a slow/steady pace, but you get to sit down and relax! I got the train up to Gornergrat, and went up to the hotel, where there were 100s of Japanese tourists getting very excited at being 3100m above sea level. I pottered around the slopes for a bit, and then went for a long lunch - sat in the sun, admiring the Matterhorn.

I'm due in Val Thorens early tomorrow morning, so I'm staying in Moutiers tonight. The hotel is a bit of a comedown from the standards that I'm used to...and is more expensive!!
